Although, I would say I do prefer Jim Rome (oops?) over most of the other so-called 'self-anointed' personalities there are on the four-letter. I much prefer, given a choice, to watch and/or listen to FoxSports. Steve Czaban is another fav, on the way to work every morning. His Team beats Mike & Mike any day of the week.

Note to masses: Czabe stood up and became the Parent over the Gunslinger Soap Opera - M&M did the "Players should own the Teams" nonsense. Obviously a bonus in the realm of us Parents not taking the Soap Opera lying down. It's refreshing to hear a Sports Reporter/Pundit set down a few basic rules of life in the middle of opinion, and then stick to them.

I'd like to carry this discussion over to IPB if'n you don't mind C.D.

For me - the four-letter (aptly named, btw) lost any and all credibility when they (1st) offered Rush Limbaugh a chance to sit in on the Sunday Morning Football Pre-game Show only to (2nd) immediately thrash him back off the air.

If you remember correctly, and I think I do... Rush had made comment over how Donovan McNabb still hadn't actually proved he was worth the hype Chris Berman and Tom Jackson were flowering all over the Quarterback. His stats and notches in the W column just did not merit any of it. The proverbial #$%^&* hit the fan and ESPN had suddenly become "Political Experts".....????

Trust me, folks, it's bad enough when a Sports Reporter cannot focus on real facts, suppresses intel, and then misleads the public "on purpose" .... it's even worse when they are jumping into the realm of Pied Piper over who you should even be listening to.

I do watch the two Sunday Morning Programs - Outside the Lines and The Sports Reporters. Other than that, I usually don't bother all that much unless the Family is watching Around The Horn during supper. Woody Paige is a fav on the Show. The Chicago guy, Jay Mariotti ... is not.

Let's hope this Internet thing doesn't suddenly get suppressed like what IRAN has to deal with.

Take that, four-letter......!

Thanks for your kind words, CD.
